usage:

1. Choose one of the eight fields to enter the corresponding data:

IP Address
- example: 192.0.34.166

Host Name
- example: www.example.com

Decimal Dotless IP
- example: 3221234342

Hexadecimal IP (prefixed with 0x)
- example: 0xC00022A6

Hexadecimal IP (dotless)
- example: C00022A6

Hexadecimal IP (dotted)
- example: 0xC0.0x00.0x22.0xA6

Octal IP (dotted)
- example: 0300.000.042.0246

Octal IP (dotless)
- example: 300000042246

2. If you do not want to attempt resolving the host name uncheck the check box. This is enabled by default. Note that if you disable this and this is the information you are basing your computations from you will not be successful.

3. Click the big button "Enter Data into one field and click here to Compute".

4. If you are resolving the host name IPObscureGUI may need to access the Internet. (The rest of the calcuating features do not require access).

5. Once you have all the results you can additionally click the button "http://" to prefix the results with http:// so that you may copy and paste directly to your web browser.

6. Click Local IP for your local IP information.
