NSQSelect - NetStumbler Quick Select v1.1.1.5 http://tools.israeltorres.org Description: This Windows Tool allows you to configure your wardriving environment effectively and without more hassle than need be. Instructions (Default Configuration): 1. Unzip to desktop or preferred directory. 2. Copy ns-aos-new-silent.wav to your NetStumbler directory. This is the silent wav file. 3. Click NSQSelect.exe (You will notice it at your upper left hand corner and on top). 4. Click Set Original Mode to save your current sound configuration. If you don't have correct permissions you will get an error message. NSQSelect Functions: 1. Set Original Mode - This saves a copy of your current netstumbler sound file (ns-aos-new.wav). 2. Select Original Mode - This assigns the sound file you set as the original sound file. 3. Select Silent Mode - This assigns the silent sound file so no sound is made by NetStumbler when a new AP is detected. 4. Start NetStumbler - This starts a NetStumbler session. 5. Close NetStumbler - This closes all NetStumbler sessions. 6. Blank Screen - This blanks your screen. You need to press the ESC or Enter Key to return your screen to normal. 7. Lock Screen - This locks your screen. You need to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to log back in (if enabled). 8. Shutdown System - This shuts your system down. 9. Ultra-Mini Version - This changes your configuration from Default to Ultra-Mini Version (UMV). 10. About - This gives you more information about NSQSelect. 11. Exit - This exits NSQSelect. Using the features in NSQSelect you can: 1. Toggle between Silent Mode and Original Mode when you want to listen to other sound related items such as Media Player. 2. Start NetStumbler and Close NetStumbler when you are done wardriving. 3. Activate the Blank Screen function to keep prying eyes away - great for wardriving at night. 4. Lock your screen if you don't trust your navigator while you are driving. 5. Shut your system down when you are done wardriving without going through the start menu. 6. Change between the dual configurations any time.
